Welcome to the CBFS website!
The Council of British Funeral Services is a forum of representatives open to every organisation connected with the funeral profession. Its objective and purpose is to provide an opportunity to discuss and exchange information within the funeral sector.
Meetings are held three times a year. Membership of the CBFS is diverse and currently represents fifteen organisations:
Association of Private Pet Cemeteries and Crematoria
British Institute of Embalmers
Churches Group on Funeral Services
Cremation Society of Great Britain
The Council is respected as an important voice within the funeral profession. The membership represents all aspects of the industry and the exchange of ideas and information is considered invaluable.
